Belgian Policemen No Longer Allowed to Check Burka Wearers

Posted by astonkid on September 21, 2010

Male police officers are no longer allowed to check the identity of a woman wearing a burka. Only the few female officers of the police force may do so. This is laid down in a new directive which the Federal Police have issued to its staff.

Senator Dirk Claes (Christian democrat) believes that as a consequence persons wearing burkas will no longer be checked.

The police unions say the new rule was issued “so as not to provoke”. “Nevertheless, male officers should also be allowed to check the identity of women wearing burkas,” says Philip Van Hamme, the chairman of the NSVP [police union].

Are They Taking The Piss

Posted by astonkid on September 21, 2010

08 March 2010

This is an online petition to ask for an alternative to Body Scanners (or Electronic Strip Search) at UK airports. Please sign and support the petition in order to protect the honour privacy  and dignity of our Muslim women(and all women) and men too,as they all will be shown NAKED to others?: Birmingham Central Mosque

You signed a petition asking the Prime Minister to allow alternative search procedures for those who object to using full-body scanners.

Her Majesty’s Government has responded to that petition and you can view it here:

http://www.hmg.gov.uk/epetition-responses/petition-view.aspx?epref=Body-Scans

Her Majesty’s Government

More details from petition creator

We are concerned that the compulsory use of these new machines violate our rights to privacy (article 8 of the ECHR). We note that other states do currently offer alternative arrangements to the use of body scanners and see no reason why the UK should be an exception.

We understand that measures must be taken to ensure safety and reduce the risk of terrorism;, however, such measures must also be reasonable and proportionate. We are not convinced that the current implementation of body scanners in the UK meet these criteria, and further, we fail to see how offering an alternative screening process hurts either goal.

Cordoba Mosque

Posted by astonkid on September 21, 2010

SUPERB: statement on the proposed mosque near ground zero.
This is the most clearly stated, sensible, and historically accurate statement that I’ve read on this issue.

Statement on the Proposed “Cordoba House” Mosque near Ground Zero

Newt Gingrich
July 21, 2010 6pm

There should be no mosque near Ground Zero in New York so long as there are no churches or synagogues in Saudi Arabia . The time for
double standards that allow Islamists to behave aggressively toward us while they demand our weakness and submission is over.
The proposed “Cordoba House” overlooking the World Trade Center site –
where a group of jihadists killed over 3000 Americans and destroyed one of our most famous landmarks – is a test of the timidity, passivity and

historic ignorance of American elites.

For example, most of them don’t understand that “Cordoba House” is a deliberately
insulting term. It refers to Cordoba , Spain – the capital of Muslim conquerors who symbolized their victory over the Christian Spaniards
by transforming a church there into the world’s third-largest mosque
complex. Today, some of the Mosque’s backers insist this term is being used to “symbolize interfaith cooperation” when, in fact, every Islamist in
the world recognizes Cordoba as a symbol of Islamic conquest. It is a sign of their contempt for Americans and their confidence in ourhistoric ignorance

that they would deliberately insult us this way.
Those Islamists and their apologists who argue for “religious toleration” are arrogantly dishonest. They ignore the fact that more
than 100 mosques already exist in New York City . Meanwhile, there are no churches or synagogues in all of Saudi Arabia . In fact no Christian
or Jew can even enter Mecca .  And they lecture us about tolerance. If the people behind the Cordoba House were serious about religious
toleration, they would be imploring the Saudis, as fellow Muslims, to immediately open up Mecca to all and immediately announce their
intention to allow non-Muslim houses of worship in the Kingdom. They should be asked by the news media if they would be willing to lead
such a campaign.

We have not been able to rebuild the World Trade Center in nine years. Now we are being told a 13 story, $100 million megamosque will be
built within a year overlooking the site of the most devastating surprise attack in American history.

Finally where is the money coming from? The people behind the Cordoba House refuse to reveal all their funding sources.
America is experiencing an Islamist cultural-political offensive designed to undermine and destroy our civilization. Sadly, too many of
our elites are the willing apologists for those who would destroy them if they could.
No mosque.
No self deception.
No surrender.
The time to take a stand is now – at this site on this issue.

If, after reading this, you agree with it, please pass it on to others. This is the most clearly stated, sensible, and historically
accurate statement that I’ve read on this issue.

.So true, but I bet the damned thing still gets built.

BURN THIS FILTHY BOOK

Posted by astonkid on September 8, 2010

MIAMI — The leader of a small Florida church that espouses anti-Islam philosophy said Wednesday he was determined to go through with his plan to burn copies of the Quran on Sept. 11, despite pressure from the White House, religious leaders and others to call it off.

“As of right now, we are not backing down,” the Rev. Terry Jones told NBC’s Kerry Sanders, though Rev. Jones said that he may reconsider his decision.

“If God told us to do it, then I guess he could tell us to do something different,” Jones said.

Jones says he has received more than 100 death threats and has started wearing a .40-caliber pistol strapped to his hip since announcing his plan to burn the book Muslims consider the word of God and insist be treated with the utmost respect. The 58-year-old minister proclaimed in July that he would stage “International Burn-a-Quran Day.”

Supporters have been mailing copies of the holy text to his Gainesville church of about 50 followers to be incinerated in a bonfire on Saturday to mark the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on New York and Washington.

A member of the church, Fran Ingram, told msnbc.com that they had a “stack of about 150” Qurans sent from across the world. “We are expecting to burn about 200 at least,” she said.

“I think we should go ahead personally,” Ingram added. “That’s what I think. I stand with the pastors. We need to go ahead with it.”

Ten Reasons to Burn a Koran

By Fran Ingram – Posted on 02 September 2010

On 9/11/10 we are burning Korans to raise awareness and warn. In a sense it is neither an act of love nor of hate. We see, as we state in the Ten Reasons below, that Islam is a danger. We are using this act to warn about the teaching and ideology of Islam, which we do hate as it is hateful. We do not hate any people, however. We love, as God loves, all the people in the world and we want them to come to a knowledge of the truth. To warn of danger and harm is a loving act. God is love and truth. If you know the truth it can set you free. The world is in bondage to the massive grip of the lies of Islam. These are:

One

The Koran teaches that Jesus Christ, the Crucified, Risen Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords was NOT the Son of God, nor was he crucified (a well documented historical fact that ONLY Islam denies). This teaching removes the possibility of salvation and eternal life in heaven for all Islam’s believers. They face eternal damnation in hell if they do not repent.

Two

The Koran does not have an eternal origin. It is not recorded in heaven. The Almighty God, Creator of the World, is NOT it’s source. It is not holy. It’s writings are human in origin, a concoction of old and new teachings. This has been stated and restated for centuries by scholars since Islam’s beginnings, both Moslem and non-Moslem.

Three

The Koran’s teaching includes Arabian idolatry, paganism, rites and rituals. These are demonic, an ongoing satanic stronghold under which Moslems and the world suffer.

Four

The earliest writings that are known to exist about the Prophet Mohammad were recorded 120 years after his death. All of the Islamic writings (the Koran and the Hadith, the biographies, the traditions and histories) are confused, contradictory and inconsistent. Maybe Mohammad never existed. We have no conclusive account about what he said or did. Yet Moslems follow the destructive teachings of Islam without question.

Five

Mohammad’s life and message cannot be respected. The first Meccan period of his leadership seems to have been religiously motivated and a search for the truth. But in the second Medina period he was “corrupted by power and worldly ambitions.” (Ibn Warraq) These are characteristics that God hates. They also led to political assassinations and massacres which continue to be carried out on a regular basis by his followers today.

Six

Islamic Law is totalitarian in nature. There is no separation of church and state. It is irrational. It is supposedly immutable and cannot be changed. It must be accepted without criticism. It has many similarities to Nazism, Communism and Fascism. It is not compatible with Western Civilization.

Seven

Islam is not compatible with democracy and human rights. The notion of a moral individual capable of making decisions and taking responsibility for them does not exist in Islam. The attitude towards women in Islam as inferior possessions of men has led to countless cases of mistreatment and abuse for which Moslem men receive little or no punishment, and in many cases are encouraged to commit such acts, and are even praised for them. This is a direct fruit of the teachings of the Koran.

Eight

A Muslim does not have the right to change his religion. Apostasy is punishable by death.

Nine

Deep in the Islamic teaching and culture is the irrational fear and loathing of the West.

Ten

Islam is a weapon of Arab imperialism and Islamic colonialism. Wherever Islam has or gains political power, Christians, Jews and all non-Moslems receive persecution, discrimination, are forced to convert. There are massacres and churches, synagogues, temples and other places of worship are destroyed.

First Facebook, now Pakistan bans YouTube over ‘un-Islamic’ contents Fucking Nutters

Posted by astonkid on May 20, 2010

First Facebook, now Pakistan bans YouTube over ‘un-Islamic’ content Access to Wikipedia and Flickr are restricted Clock ticking for Twitter

Traffic surge as blocked users switch to micro-blogging site Pakistan offers to resolve dispute in way that ‘ensures religious harmony’ Revolt: Supporters of Islamic political party Jamat-e-Islami carry placards during a protest against the international social networking website Facebook in Karachi today

The Pakistan government blocked access to YouTube today in protest at its ‘sacrilegious’ content. The move comes just a day after the country blocked Facebook in outrage over a page that encouraged users to submit images of the Prophet Mohammed. The government is challenging the power of the world wide web in a growing crackdown against sites deemed offensive to the country’s majority Muslim population. Outrage: Pakistani religious students shout slogans during a protest in Karachi against the Facebook page asking using to submit images of the Prophet Mohammed today Revolt: Supporters of Islamic political party Jamat-e-Islami join the Karachi protest today.

Outrage: Pakistani religious students shout slogans during a protest in Karachi against the Facebook page asking using to submit images of the Prophet Mohammed today

A Pakistani court has temporarily banned the entire Facebook website Today access to encyclopaedia site Wikipedia and photo-sharing site Flickr was also restricted. But resourceful internet users simply switched to micro-blogging site Twitter to broadcast their protests against the crackdown to the world. However, there are fears today that Twitter could become the next target as Pakistani traffic to the site surged. ‘Sad and embarrassing day in the history of Pakistan. Tough times to be a Pakistani. Questionable decisions in a so-called “democracy,”‘ one user tweeted. ‘What’s common to Facebook and Lashkar-e-Taiba?’ one user on Twitter wrote, referring to a Pakistani militant group that is believed to have carried out the terrorist atrocities in Mumbai. ‘They are both banned in Pakistan, but Pakistanis can still find them if they want to.’ Twitter, Facebook and YouTube have all been at the forefront of anti-government protests in the last few years, most notably during last year’s Iranian elections. The Pakistan Telecommunications Authority did not point to specific material on YouTube that prompted it to block the site, only citing ‘growing sacrilegious content’. Outcry: Female activists of Pakistani Islamic party Jamaat-e-Islami carry placards as they march during a protest rally against Facebook in Karachi yesterday One woman looks proud as she holds up her signing calling on Pakistanis to log out forever The government took action against both Facebook and YouTube after it failed to persuade the websites to remove the ‘derogatory material,’ the regulatory body said in a statement. It welcomed representatives from the two websites to contact the Pakistani government to resolve the dispute in a way that ‘ensures religious harmony and respect’. The regulatory body said it has blocked more than 450 Internet links containing offensive material, but it is unclear how many of the links were blocked in the last two days. The Facebook page ‘Everybody Draw Mohammed Day!’ encourages users to submit images of the prophet on May 20. Images of the Prophet are considered blasphemous. A series of cartoons of the prophet published in a Danish newspaper in 2005 sparked violent protests and death threats against the cartoonists. More students join in today’s protest. As of early this afternoon, Facebook was still available in Pakistan It was set up to protest threats made by a radical Muslim group against the creators of ‘South Park’ for depicting Muhammad in a bear suit during an episode earlier this year. ‘We are not trying to slander the average Muslim,” the Facebook creators wrote on the information section of the page, which was still accessible this morning. ‘We simply want to show the extremists that threaten to harm people because of their Mohammad depictions that we’re not afraid of them. That they can’t take away our right to freedom of speech by trying to scare us into silence.’

One woman looks proud as she holds up her signing calling on Pakistanis to log out forever

Wish they would

Pakistan blocked access to YouTube once before for two days in 2008 because of what it said was unIslamic content. Turkey, Thailand, Indonesia and Morocco have all blocked access to YouTube in the past for various reasons. It remains to be seen how successful the government will be at keeping Pakistan’s nearly 20 million Internet users from accessing the blocked sites. Other countries, such as China, permanently ban Facebook and YouTube. But citizens often have little trouble working their way around the ban using proxy servers and other means

A Message From Leon – One of the Dudley 2

Posted by astonkid on May 14, 2010

My EDL brothers and sisters, Snowy and i are being held as political prisoners, prisoners of corruptors and vested interests, we see just how deeply imbued politically correct idiocy reflects in the application of law by those who are supposed to uphold it.

I would just like to say this to you my fellow patriots this is very important…..

Although tensions are high and passions are flaring i ask you to remain calm in the face of adversity, through thick and thin the EDL must win this battle. Many have come to ruin us, and we say let them come we have nothing to hide or fear.

Our enemy is not West Midlands Police it is the top brass who favour or at the very least, capitulate to the aggressive Muslim attitude on a street level . Caving into threats of rioting if we were not brought down from the roof and brought to justice as swiftly as possible. Caving into the political will of Islam.

Charges of “burglary” are laughable as there was nothing in that derelict building worth stealing, it was already stripped out, people were squatting there and yet we have burgled it somehow?

I had nothing in my possession that belonged in that building, so why the charge of burglary? I would of thought if they were to try and pin anything on me it would be “attempted burglary” so im not sure how these trumped up charges hold up in a court of law.

The police for the most part have been very kind to us, they actually sympathise with us and quietly support us even, they know what we are fighting for. I bear no malice towards West Midlands Police as they are only doing what they are told to do.

Some of the prison guards are ex-military so again support for us is there, they know what we are doing, i bear no malice towards them either. The only police officer i can genuinely say i dislike is the one who broke my arm, he beat me when i did not resist arrest, i was not violent i was in fact very passive as i resigned myself to being arrested. It looks like certain individuals want to make me a martyr for this cause, but i still say to them i will never surrender!

And finally…………

NO MORE MOSQUES IN DUDLEY

Time for people to make a stand, its time for the people of Dudley to be heard, no politician or Islamist dirtbag will take that fundamental right away from us, not now, not ever.

Amen

Just to add, the Dudley 2 have been remanded again until June 7th after their Monday court appearance

The English Defence League is a non political organisation. We know that over the years a lot of our politicians from all parties have let us, the people, down on a good many issues. We neither support, nor oppose any political party.

It has come to our attention that one man in the political world has been on a fight. A fight for his local people. He has faced derision, he has faced contempt, he has faced hostility. Yet he is still prepared to make a stand for what he knows is the wishes of the people he represents.

For five long years Councillor Malcolm Davis of Dudley has represented his people with dignity, and integrity on the issue of the massively unwanted supermosque that a small section of the population is trying to impose on the community. Despite over 22,000 signatories against it and very few for, it is being pushed through.

Councillor Davis has been a shining light in trying to get this behemoth blight removed from the horizon.

When the EDL came to Dudley, at first Cllr Davis opposed our visit. He showed unity with other groups. They had heard things about us that simply weren’t true. The fact is, we the EDL are a group of ordinary people who see things as they are, that we have an enemy within this nation and the vast majority of politicians know this is the case yet they are too self-serving to raise their head above the parapet.

He came to our meetings with police, he was again in the background without publicity fighting for what he believed was right. He told us straight exactly what his opinions were whether it was what we wanted to hear or not. A true man of integrity and courage.

After the Dudley demonstration, he saw that we were really people of honour. He saw the people of Dudley coming out of their houses to applaud us as our coaches drove by, he saw people getting out of their cars to cheer and wave. He saw the true nature of our support in Dudley. He saw that we are a force of good.

After Dudley, he wrote a letter and sent it to the press. Not one paper or publication printed it either in whole or part. Not one. This shows the extent of how far they go to hide the truth. We, the EDL, shall publish this letter and allow this noble man his freedom of speech.

I went to considerable length to make sure the demonstration of the EDL was not supported on Saturday, including attending police meetings arranged, and in conjunction with the EDL. It would appear that at several meetings prior to this one a group calling themselves the UAF turned up in opposition and were more disruptive and had more arrests on these previous occasions than the EDL. I commend the police by their prior action and the way they tried to stabilize an awkward operation, but am most annoyed that people supporting the EDL were penned in like animals whilst the UAF were given the freedom to walk clear.

It also doesn’t help when, as a politician, I denied myself the great opportunity to be well advertised and promoted as part of the demonstration on behalf of UKIP, whilst people like the Bishop of Dudley used it specifically as an excuse to promote his own selfish interests and use it as his own personal pulpit.

My sons attended the demonstration against my wishes and were standing by an old gentleman who did no more or less than buy a loaf of bread, but was told he could not exit the crowd until they were all dispersed together. The same thing happened to many ordinary residents from our surrounding estates who found themselves fenced in like animals until they were released.

It is little wonder, under these circumstances, that frustration got the better of some in the crowd who objected to be herded like sheep. Two sections of fencing was pushed down and if this amounted to £150,000 worth of damage, the fencing must have been made out of gold.

The top and bottom of the whole affair revolves round the covenant and had been called in as demanded of this council by the people there would be no excuse to call into Dudley or use it as an excuse to demonstrate at all. This Council has denied the rights of every citizen of Dudley, who asked for this Giant Mosque to be stopped. They had every right morally and in law to service the covenant and take back land that was gifted to a few outspoken greedy members of our society who think they have the authority to dip into the public purse every time they require another favour.

If justice isn’t done and more demonstrations have to be planned to stop this edifice being built I will exercise my right and the right of every single citizen of Dudley to express my opposition to the development of anything that does not have the people’s approval.

Father Zakaria Botros: Threatened into Silence

Posted by astonkid on May 13, 2010

The renowned Coptic Christian priest Father Zakaria Botros was to speak  in Vienna tonight, but the atmosphere created by Muslim threats was such the event had to be cancelled.

Below is the press release sent out by the Wiener Akademikerbund concerning this unfortunate turn of events. Many thanks to JLH for the translation:

Concerning: Cancellation of Presentation by Pater Zakaria

Dear Friends!

Last week, with the greatest joy and in expectation of a courageous confrontation of the problems surrounding Islam, the promises of multiculturalism and diversity as well as the erosion of our value system, we invited you to a lecture/presentation with the Coptic scholar. Islam researcher and charismatic Christian missionary, Father Zakaria Botros.

After meticulous preparation and with Father Zakaria anticipating his first public appearance in Europe, it is with a heavy heart that we must cancel the event, which was scheduled for Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 7:00 PM.

For reasons of numerous Islamic threats of violence and intolerable pressure upon our oriental Christian friends, insistence upon holding the event would be not only risky, but absolutely irresponsible.

We are saddened to discover that — in an allegedly free country such as Austria, and despite precautions taken by the authorities in a serious and professional manner — it is no longer possible to pursue critical clarity and tell the truth.

Father Zakaria is surely the highest-ranking and most profound critic of Islam. He does not merely reveal the theological and philosophical errors of Islam. For years, he has generously and successfully spread the spiritual offer of the joyous message of Jesus Christ among his beloved Muslim brethren.

We were aware that rejection of the false path of the “interreligious equality mania” is presently not considered “politically correct.” However, we hoped that an honest debate about truth in all possible forms of expression would be possible without violence, even in a time of relativistic destruction in the Republic of Austria.

Despite the disappointment, Father Zakaria’s heart is in Austria. His and our efforts toward a lasting order which rest upon the bases of peace, brotherly love, rule of law and prosperity must not die.

We regret any inconvenience this cancellation may cause you, and apologize for it.

Sincerely,

Vienna Akademikerbund
